McCord Roberts Stubbs was born September 13, 1841 in Greene County, Missouri. He died February 29, 1908 in Platte County, Missouri. He married Sarah V. (Cantrell) Friend in 1876. Sarah was born in Illinois in 1845 and died March 1894 in Texas County, Missouri. McCord is buried in the Stubbs Family Cemetery. Sarah's burial is unknown but believed to be in the same cemetery.
